James McGavin

James is a Director at 'ttc' and has over 18 years of experience of working within transport planning and traffic engineering sector, for both independent and large multidisciplinary consultancies.

James joined ‘ttc’ in 2018, having previously worked at Wood PLC and Sanderson Associates CE, where he gained valuable and extensive experience in the transport planning and highway engineering sector.

James was made Director in 2020 and has been instrumental in the development and growth of the company, by maintaining a focus on quality, cultivating strong client/consultant relationships, developing and mentoring staff and optimising company operations.

James has been responsible for project managing several public and private sector projects over his career, including several Town Council Transport Strategies, work on the University of Oxford’s Science Area Redevelopment and Review, the A40 Bus Lane feasibility study on behalf of Oxfordshire County Council, Phases 1, 2 and 3 of the New University of Peterborough on behalf of the Cambridgeshire Peterborough Combined Authority and several large scale residential schemes across the Midlands.
