Introducing Our Newest Transport Planner, Connor Read
The Transportation Consultancy, ‘ttc’, is pleased to introduce Connor Read as its latest exceptional Transport Planning consultant. Connor brings with him a first class honours degree, two years experience and a strong passion to deliver high quality innovative transport planning solutions for ‘ttc’ clients.
Connor’s journey began at Hub Transport Planning, where he honed his skills and passion for shaping transportation environments. Proficient in writing Transport Assessments and Travel Plans, acting as a Travel Plan Coordinator, producing Access Appraisals and advising on a wide range of highways-related issues, he brings valuable experience and skills to the table. Connor’s academic achievements, coupled with his experience and focus on client satisfaction, make him a perfect fit to join the ttc team.
Connor comments: “I am delighted to have joined ttc at such an exciting time for the company. I have always had a strong passion for how transport shapes our environment and surroundings, and I feel my skill set can contribute greatly to achieving quality work for our clients. The team has made me feel very welcome and has brought me into an enjoyable working environment, and I look forward to working hard alongside my new colleagues and developing my knowledge further.”
Over his career, Connor has worked on a diverse range of residential and commercial projects in the UK and Ireland, and has acted as a Travel Plan Coordinator for several key developments. This experience reflects his ability to navigate various contexts and challenges. From promoting industry knowledge at Birmingham City University to collaborating on multi-use developments, Connor’s hands-on experience speaks volumes.
Complementing this experience, Connor embraces Traffic Modelling software, including junction capacity assessment tools (ARCADY, PICADY, Junctions 10), signal controlled junction design software (LinSig), Autodesk AutoCAD, Autodesk Vehicle Tracking and swept path analysis software. Maximizing the right software for each project to deliver deep insights and innovative solutions.
