Sarah Burbury

Sarah Burbury is a Senior Transport Planner at ‘ttc’ and is a forward-thinking, vision-led sustainable transport expert with seven years’ experience. This, along with her passion and collaborative working style, has led her to deliver successful projects, time and time again.

Prior to joining ‘ttc’, Sarah was a Senior Transport Planner at Velocity where she worked on complex development projects across the residential, commercial and education sector throughout London and the South-East. In this role, she gained extensive experience in successfully supporting planning applications producing Healthy Streets Transport Assessments and Travel Plans as well as regularly using GIS, junction modelling software and pedestrian movement assessments to provide detailed technical analysis.

Over her career, Sarah has been at the forefront of a range of exciting and impactful projects, each leaving its mark on the urban landscape. Such as; 60 Gracechurch Street in the City of London – a new 50,000sqm office building with public roof garden where she provided detailed Pedestrian Comfort Level analysis; 40 Holborn Viaduct in the City of London comprising the refurbishment and extension of the existing office where she delivered cycle parking and public realm design support; Rotherhithe Reach in Southwark – a 150 unit residential scheme on a former gasholder site involving detailed pre- and post-application discussions with Highways Officers; refurbishment of Hampstead Police Station in Camden working with Camden Highway Officers to negotiate the S106 agreement; Hopescourt Special Education Needs School in Walton-on-Thames undertaking junction modelling.
