Dover Technical College, Dover

‘ttc’ were appointed by the EKC Group to prepare a Transport Statement and Travel Plan (TP) in support of a planning application for the redevelopment of two existing buildings at Dover Technical College.

The Transport Statement and Travel Plan were prepared in accordance with Kent County Council (KCC) guidance and included consultation with both KCC Officers and the EKC Group Management Team. To support the Travel Plan, a full staff/student survey was conducted, and accessibility plans were prepared which sought to identify suitable targets for staff/student travel.

As part of the development, new infrastructure was introduced to enhance and encourage travel by sustainable means, particularly by bicycle and a bespoke Travel Plan and Action plan were prepared to the satisfaction of the College and KCC.
